Hellenic Defense Systems (EAS) is a group of companies founded in 2004 by the merger of PYRKAL, which was founded in 1874 and for more than 130 years has been active in the manufacture of small, medium and large caliber ammunition compatible with NATO-type weapon systems, and EBO, founded in 1977 and active in the manufacture of small arms, mortars, weapon systems, propellants and cartridges, as well as medium and large caliber ammunition.
